Modular Home Design Process...

Our step-by-step design process brings your modular home vision to life with creativity and flexibility at every stage.

01

Align Modular Home Size and Budget

This discovery call helps us understand your goals, ideas and current situation. We discuss how you plan to use your modular home, explore suitable designs and inclusions, and align the size and scope of your home with your budget. This ensures clarity, transparency and a strong foundation before moving forward.

Undertake Site Feasibility and Assessment

Once engaged, we begin gathering information on your site and services. External consultants are arranged to survey the site’s contours and boundaries. Any matters regarding bushfire assessments, trees, power connections, and soil testing are reviewed, ensuring all potential site considerations are identified before design and construction proceed.

Begin Design Development Process

This is the fun part of process. It’s where after a Design Briefing Meeting with our Design Manager we develop up a concept that has been created to suit your wish list and your block of land. So, bring along your magazine clippings you’ve collected, ideas you’ve seen on websites like Houzz or Pinterest and any rough plan ideas you may have sketched out.

Finalise Design Documentation and Council Approval

By this stage, the final design documentation is confirmed, and we begin preparing all necessary paperwork. This includes final engineering, working drawings, and the complete contract package for your builder, ensuring everything is ready for submission to council and a smooth approval process for your modular home.

Precision Manufacturing and Quality Assurance

Once council approval is received, manufacturing begins in a controlled factory environment, ensuring precision, consistency and quality control. Our experienced team builds to our strict standards with each component carefully assembled and inspected. Multiple quality checks are completed before delivery to ensure Class 1A compliance and a high-quality finished home.

Delivery, Installation & Handover of your Modular Home

Once manufacturing is complete, your modular home is carefully transported to site and installed by experienced licensed builders. The modules are securely positioned and installed, with final checks completed on site. We then conduct a thorough handover, ensuring your home is ready to enjoy from day one.

Our Inclusions Are Better… Compare for Yourself!

Not all inclusions are created equal. At Mr Cabins, we provide superior quality finishes and thoughtful inclusions, giving you confidence in your investment.
